I've just watched the long-awaited cinematic event, Godzilla vs. Kong.  It takes place after the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters and 40 years after Kong: Skull Island and is the third film in WB/Legendary's Monterverse. It follows a group of scientists who take King Kong to his true home in Hollow Earth where other monsters reside. Along for the ride is a young girl named Jia, an orphaned girl with a strong bond to the powerful ape. However, they end up in the path of Godzilla and an epic clash ensues.  Godzilla vs. Kong stars Rebecca Hall, Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Julien Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, Kyle Chandler, Eiza Gonzalez, Demián Bichir and Shun Oguri and is directed by Adam Wingard and is composed by Junkie XL. Hi, Everybody! So... last week Zack Snyder's original vision of Justice League finally came out on HBO Max. A 4-hour superhero epic that was nothing short of brilliant! It was long time coming and I never thought that this film would never see the light of day. Here is the story of Zack Snyder's Justice League. At the time, the DC Comics brand wasn't owned by Warner Bros. until the 1970s-1980s.   Hi, Everybody! Today, I reviewed Cherry, an Apple Original Film that is now streaming today! From playing our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to playing heroin addict, Nico Walker, Tom Holland has proven to be a capable and versatile actor, proving himself to be a mature performer.  Cherry stars Tom Holland, Ciara Bravo, Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli, Jeff Wahlberg, Forrest Goodluck, Michael Gandolfini and Kyle Harvey and is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is based on Nico's book of the same name. The movie follows the life of Nico Walker, a young man who enlists in the army and afterwards gets addicted to opioids due to his PTSD and robs banks to cope with his addiction.  Now, both Joe and Anthony have become well-known directing movies within the MCU like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame and they both chose to direct and produce a biographical drama, which I won't argue against since that they are respectable directors but...

Hello, Everybody! This month is Women's History Month, a month where women are celebrated. Specifically I want to talk about the working female directors in the film industry. Alright, guys and girls. Let's get to it. 20. Olivia Wilde Olivia Wilde has been in the acting game for awhile now. Best known for appearing in movies like Alpha Dog, Drinking Buddies, Rush and A Vigilante. In 2019, she made her directorial debut with Booksmart, a critically-acclaimed coming-of-age comedy-drama film about two teenage girls who are about to graduate and have one last hurrah before they go off to college and a short film called Wake Up starring Margaret Qualley. Her second feature film, Don't Worry Darling is a psychological thriller taking place in the 1950s about a housewife who uncovers a disturbing secret about her husband, the film stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Kiki Layne and Nick Kroll.   Hello! Today, I'm reviewing the long-awaited sequel to Coming to America, Coming 2 America. The film sees Eddie Murphy return to one of his iconic roles, Prince Akeem of Zamunda, Arsenio Hall, Shari Headley, James Earl Jones, Paul Bates, Louie Anderson, Vanessa Bell Calloway and John Amos and joining the sequel is Kiki Layne, Leslie Jones, Jermaine Fowler, Tracy Morgan, Teyanna Taylor, Wesley Snipes, Nomzamo Mbatha, Davido and Rick Ross. The film is directed by Craig Brewer, who previously did the Netflix hit, Dolemite Is My Name, also starring Murphy which makes this their second collaboration.  This goes without saying, but... SPOILER ALERT.
