10 Actors who should play Green Arrow in the DCEU

Good Morning, Everybody! I'm currently living in my new apartment in Albany, where I'm at the next step of living independently. Since that Dinah Lance from the Birds of Prey movie is finally getting her own movie with Lovecraft Country Executive Producer, Misha Green at the helm, it's only fitting that Oliver Queen could appear in the movie, and here are the people who I think should play him.

10. Alfred Enoch

Look, Oliver doesn't have to be a white guy to be Green Arrow, these filmmakers can cast whoever they want, and I think this English Actor with Barbadian descent can play him to great effect. Enoch first acted in most of the Harry Potter movies as Dean Thomas, a fellow Gryffindor student, which is Warner Bros., he then gained further recognition playing Wes Gibbons on How to Get Away with Murder and has proven to be an action star on the Netflix miniseries, Troy: Fall of a City and is starring in the upcoming Apple TV+ show, Foundation. I could definitely picture him in green with a bow and arrow and a full beard. 

9. Henry Golding

Again, Oliver Queen can be a different race, and it's not hard to picture Asian Oliver Queen. Golding recently played Snake Eyes in the Snake Eyes movie and has proven to be a capable actor starring in the acclaimed romcom, Crazy Rich Asians, the dark comedy thriller, A Simple Favor and the drama movie, Monsoon and he has a voice role in Star Wars: Visions! Henry Golding is the kind of actor who could fit into the role of a charismatic businessman with a shady second life and it would pretty awesome to seem him as the Green Arrow.

8. Steven Yeun

Another Asian American who could play Green Arrow is cult actor, Steven Yeun. He's best known for playing Glenn on The Walking Dead, had voice roles in Trollhunters, Voltron: Legendary Defender and became the first Asian American actor to be nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars for his lead role in Minari and is voicing Mark Grayson in Invincible. With these types of roles in his resume, Yeun can fit into a major DC character, can train with a bow and arrow and be good to go.

7. Luke Mitchell

Luke Mitchell is one of those major actors in television who has yet to be a household name. The Australian actor gained fame in H20 and soap operas like Home and Away. He joined Marvel Television in the Seasons 2 and 3 of Agents of SHIELD and was a series regular in Season 2 of Blindspot. He made his recent film appearance in Without Remorse starring Michael B. Jordan. He's got the hair, look and physique to play the billionaire playboy and bow marksman. 

6. Michael B. Jordan

Speaking of Without Remorse, the movie was CARRIED through Jordan's muscular physique and acting chops, he's also playing Adonis Creed in the Rocky franchise, and Erik Killmonger in the MCU. Yes, I know, he could be busy with Marvel, but about during his downtime, he could suit for Oliver Queen, use a bow and arrow and he's basically got a history with DC. In Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Cyborg was voiced by Jordan! He even played a charismatic defense lawyer in Just Mercy, proving that his Oliver Queen could be both a smooth talker and a deadly weapon.

5. Alexander Ludwig

Alexander Ludwig has been giving a name for himself in recent years. The Canadian actor has had roles in some movies like The Hunger Games, Lone Survivor, Midway and Bad Boys for Life. He's mostly known for his role Bjorn Ironside in Vikings and in the Starz television drama, Heels, alongside Stephen Amell, the former Green Arrow. With his Canadian accent and blonde hair and looks, Ludwig could fit into the role beautifully.

4. Ben Hardy

Ben Hardy is the actor who played Roger Taylor in the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, in case you guys were wondering. Hardy has also proven himself to be in action movies like 6 Underground. Bro, that dude can parkour! It's the exact reason why I think Ben Hardy can be perfect as Green Arrow, and that he failed as a Marvel character in X-Men: Apocalypse. Hopefully he can get another chance at DC.

3. Boyd Holbrook

Boyd Holbrook has been in the acting game for quite sometime. He's been in Logan, The Predator, Run All Night, Narcos, Beckett and is playing The Corinthian in Netflix's The Sandman. The guy even has blonde hair and mustache and I think that he can hold his own in a fight. 

2. Charlie Hunnam

For awhile, there was a fan campaign to have Charlie Hunnam join the DCEU as Green Arrow. He has the proper physique, hair and the perfect American accent for an English actor. I still think he's perfect for the role! He has played King Arthur, a thug, a mobster, a cowboy, a trainer and an explorer. With his track record, he could play Oliver Queen easily. 

1. Dev Patel

Pair him with Jurnee Smollet and you've got one of the best pairs in the DCEU! I've seen fan arts of him as Green Arrow and now I can't unsee it. Patel has been acting since 2008, and has been in many respective roles ranging from a news intern, Prince Zuko, a man who went missing when he was a boy, David Copperfield, and Gawain, a Knight of the Round Table. If he can wield an axe and a shield, he can wield a bow and arrow and even get into a relationship with Dinah and even clash if they have different ideologies.
